SANKALPA MANTHRAS ARE TO BE AMENDED BY OUR ACHARYAS OF DIFFERENT MUTTS AS PER THE PRESENT DAY TRENDS.

MERU PARVATHA
“Srimadh Bhagavatham ( 5th canto , chapters 17 to 25 ) and Sri NArAyaNeeyam ( 21st Dasakam ) give the detailed account of the Dveepams. They give the name of the Gods resident there and the Manthrams for them. There are individual kanDams in each of the DveepAs. For instance, Jambhu Dveepam surrounded by salty ocean is included in our MahA Sankalpam. It has nine divisions ( KanDams ) and Bharatha KanDam is one of the nine. The rest of the eight are : ILAvrutham , BhadrAchalam , Hari Varsham , KethumAlam , Ramyakam , HiraNmayam , Uttara Kuru , and Kimpurusham. Bhagavan NarasimhA is the presiding deity of Hari Varsha Dveepam.
The presiding deity of Bharatha Varsham is Nara NaarAyaNa Murthy“Varsha parvatham: Varsha mountains in our PurAnic literature refers to one of the mountain ranges that separate the different divisions of "the worlds" from one another. The seven ( saptha ) varsha parvathAs are : HimavAn , Hemakuta, NishadO , Meru , Chaitra , KarNee and Sringhi. “

This is given in the web in “ satagopan.org. “ This has been described in bombastic English as usual by Sri. Narayanaswamy Subrahmanian. Friends When this was made? You will be surprised to know that these are all PURANIC MOUNTAINS, except HIMAVAN . Meru Parvatha “With 4,566 meters height, Meru Mountain is the second highest point in Tanzania. It is located in the North-East of Arusha over looking at the highest peak in Africa Mount Kilimanjaro. Meru Mountain is part of Arusha National Park, for that case you will have the opportunity to walk through the game that you might come across, most likely giraffes and buffaloes, to the starting point of your hike. Its extinct crater is easily accessible from Arusha town, which lies at the mountain’s southern base HEMAKUTA IS ONLY A HILL which is one among the best places in Hampi to see the sunrise and sunset; and not as tedious to reach the top say compared to the Matanga Hill nearby. Good news for the ones who find it difficult for a steep climb, In Karnataka.

KARNEE IS A HILL in BILWARAH, RAJASTHAN

SRINGI : It is in Tibet bordering Nepal.

.
Friends, Others I could not find. All these must be big mountains like The Himalayas out of which some might have become hills due to natural calamities like Tsunami. Some like Meru might have gone in different continents which might have been in Asia. (BHARATHA VARSHA). Some might have one under the Sea. I request one and all to stop this topic or ask to your ACHAARYA like ACHARYA OF SRINGERI MUTT. Further , for suitable SANKALPAM to be chanted in foreign countries like USA, EUROPEAN NATIONS, GULF COUNTRIES etc. In olden days we were not to cross the sea which rule we have transgressed due to some reason. This also need to be taken up with the ACHAARAYA SWAMIGALS OF THE RESPECTIVE SECTIONS OF BRAHMINS.

REGARDS AND NAMASKARAMS,

P.R.RADHAKRISHNAN
